60th Annual Day Celebrations

Cambridge Foundation School, Rajouri Garden celebrated its 60th Annual Day- a Diamond Jubilee of Glory with great splendor on the 12th October 2025 at the majestic Talkatora Indoor Stadium, marking 6 glorious decades of excellence and holistic education. This Grand occasion was graced by Ms. Bansuri Swaraj, distinguished advocate and Member of Parliament and Mr. Ashish Sood, eminent political leader and Hobn’ble Minister, Govt. of NCT of Delhi, who presided over as the Chief Guest. The celebration commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp invoking divine blessings. The School Manager Dr. Anita Puri extended very warm welcome and heartfelt greetings to the chief guests and the audience. Her address resonated with wisdom, inspiration and excellence in all pursuits. The cultural segment began with Durga Stuti, invoking the divine feminine power that set a sacred tone all around. It was followed by Bharat Parv that showcased rich tapestry of Indian festivals and unity in diversity with a patriotic fervor. Manager Mam’s speech highlighted the year’s achievement followed by felicitation of outstanding students in academics. Both Ms. Bansuri Swaraj and Mr. Ashish Sood lauded the institution’s commitment to nurturing excellence and up holding a glorious legacy. The event stood as a shining tribute to 6 decades of distinction. The event culminated with a glittering and awe inspiring finale, which had the participation of nearly 900 students. The cultural extravaganza for the Junior School began with the Nursery students’ delightful Alphabet Train, followed by an enchanting dance performance in praise of Lord Ganesha by the students of Class I. The audience was treated to a harmonious Choir, a thought-provoking Play on Festivals of India, and a Grand Finale that beautifully showcased India’s unity in diversity. The event was graced by distinguished guests: Shri S. B. K. Singh, IPS, Director General of Prisons, Tihar, and Ms. Veditha Reddy, IAS, Director of Education, GNCTD, whose inspiring speeches, along with Manager Dr. Anita Puri’s address, motivated students and parents alike. Dr. Puri stressed that CFS aligns with shifts in the ever changing social paradigm and animates its vision which is, cultivating a culture that honors a tradition of excellence where learners are equipped with in-depth and cohesive learning programs and are inspired and empowered to grow in confidence preparing them for their role as caring and proactive global citizens. The Prize Distribution was conducted in two segments first for Classes 1–3 and then for Classes 4–5, honouring academic and co-curricular excellence, in which the Prize Winners for the Session 2024-2025 received awards from the esteemed Chief Guests. The highlight of the day “Bharat Parv” showcased our rich cultural heritage bringing alive the origins of the popular festivals, such as Holi, Jagannath Puri Rath Yatra, Diwali, Eid and Christmas. The audience was transported to an era of Gods and Demons and the triumph of Good over Evil. The Grand Finale was a sumptuous treat for the eyes with the children dancing to the backdrop of confetti and glittering lights. Initiation Ceremony

The banners flew high as Cambridge Foundation School proudly commenced its Diamond Jubilee celebrations on 23rd July 2025. The Initiation Ceremony marked sixty years of educational excellence, bringing together dignitaries, alumni, faculty, and students in a heartfelt tribute to the school’s enduring legacy and inspiring journey ahead. The stature of the day was elevated by the presence of the Hon’ble Chief Guest S. Manjinder Singh Sirsa Ji, Cabinet Minister Govt. of NCT of Delhi and Guest of Honour Shri Subhash Arya, former Mayor South Delhi Municipal Corporation, GNCTD. Mr. Singh inaugurated the School’s Milestone and planted a sapling wishing for the School’s continued progress and service to the community. A special presentation was aligned for this special day. The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the auspicious lamp, followed by a dance in honour of Durga Maa. Respected Manager, Dr. Anita Puri presented the School Report, highlighting the School’s achievements and evolution over the years. This was followed a Prized Distribution ceremony for the School Toppers of Classes X and XII in the CBSE Examinations 2024-2025. The students were felicitated with awards by Chief Guest Sirsa Ji, Sh. Atul Puri, Manager Dr. Anita Puri, and Principal Mr. J. Venkatesan. The Chief Guest Sirsa Ji, addressed the gathering and inspired the students, motivated the teachers with his thought provoking message. The story of Onam was presented in spellbinding act by the students. A Nukkad Naatak on the importance of Water in our lives left a deep impact with the audience. The Head Boy Sarsij Srivastava (XII-E) and Head Girl Ayaana Sharma (XII C) also expressed their viewpoint on the School’s 60th year from a student’s perspective. The rhythmic and hypnotic Rajasthani Folk Dance – Gangaur was mesmerizing. All the participants in their colourful costumes collected for the thumping Grand Finale. The ceremony concluded with the National Anthem.

Founders’ Day Celebration – Inauguration of Diamond Jubilee Celerbrations

60 Candles Aglow!!

On 4th July 2025 our venerable institution celebrated a Milestone – 60 years of service to the community, nurturing young minds and shaping futures. The Founders’ Day festivities were a testament to our rich legacy. Our Respected Manager, Dr. Anita Puri, delivered a stirring oration that resonated both with nostalgia and hope. A short presentation by the students added to the merriment. As the festivities reached their crescendo, the students were treated to delightful refreshments. The sky ablazed with a kaleidoscope of balloons soaring high, captured the essence of the occasion.

CFS Students Participate in the Van Mahotsav Ceremony

As part of the ECO Club Activities,  Aaliya Ahmed (IXE) and Kanika (IX E), accompanied by Ms Ritika Arora participated in the Van Mahotsav Celebrations organized by the Dept. of Environment, GNCTD held at Bharat Mandapam on 3rd July 2025. The central theme of the event was to promote “Ek Pedh Maa Ke Naam“. The programme was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Chief Minister Ms Rekha Gupta. Mr  Manjinder Singh Sirsa, Minister of Environment, GNCTD and Mr. Pravesh Sahib Singh, PWD Minister, GNCTD were also present. All attendees which included, Officials from the Dept. of Environment, Schools, RWAs etc were presented with saplings. The campaign “Ek Pedh Maa Ke Naam” aims to promote the Greening of Delhi with whole-hearted participation of all Delhites.
