Investiture Ceremony 2023-2024

Cambridge Foundation School, Rajouri Garden held the Investiture Ceremony in the school auditorium on 2nd May, 2023. The Student Council for the session 2023-24 was formed. Students were chosen for the School Posts and House Posts. Newly formed Council including Arsh Juneja (Head Boy) and Mannat Rajput (Head Girl) along with Class Representatives of classes 3 to 12, House Captains of class 12 were honoured by our respected Manager Dr. Anita Puri and Principal Mr. J. Venkatesan. Office bearers were congratulated for their dedicated efforts and zeal to be the leaders in their zone. The School Council members also took the oath to uphold the dignity and honour of the school. They were given the badges as a token of appreciation. The Head Boy and the Head Girl expressed their gratitude and felt their onus on this auspicious day. The event culminated with the Dr. Anita Puri, addressing the gathering and inspiring and blessing the students with her golden views which would help them clear their vision for the achievement of their goals.

21st Brem Dutt Memorial Inter School Competition 2023


Cambridge Foundation School, Rajouri Garden organized its 21st Annual Brem Dutt Memorial Competition on 04th May 2023 organized under the proficient guidance of our competent Manager Dr. Anita Puri. The mega event witnessed the participation of 50 prestigious Schools from all zones of Delhi. Ignited with a competitive spirit the zealous preparation by all teams in the 15 events made it a tough competition. The day long programme had an array of events highlighting the motto and purpose of the G20 Summit, 2023 aiming to acquaint the young learners with the most concerned global issues. The appreciable efforts of all participants was lauded and winners awarded. Each team member received participation certificate.  A proud moment to cherish when CFS was declared the proud recipient of the Rolling Trophy. However keeping the tradition of being the host School, the Rolling Trophy was passed on to the next Winners, there being a tie between Indraprastha World School Paschim Vihar and St. Mark’s Sr. Sec. Public School Meera Bagh.

World Press Freedom Day

The students of Class 11 participated in a Special Activity to celebrate the World Press Freedom Day. The students were informed about the need and importance of Freedom of Press in a democratic Society . All the students agreed about the importance of Free Press. A few students also discussed the issue of the Press misusing the freedom given to the 4th pillar of a democracy. Mehul Anand and Richik Mukherjee prepared the speech for the activity. They shared their own experiences and also highlighted the importance of freedom of press.

International Dengue Day

A team of 15 Officers from MCD, Malaria Staff, Rajouri Garden West Zone, visited the School on 16th May 2023, under the guidance of Mr. Sumit Kumar Rana, Assistant Malaria Inspector, to conduct an Awareness Workshop in celebration of International Dengue Day. A group of students of Class VIII attended the workshop along with Ms. Rachna Kapur, TGT Science. The students were handed pamphlets by the MCD officers. Mr. Rana apprised the students of the dangers of Vector Borne Diseases such as Dengue, Malaria and Chikungunya. The children were informed how to restrict the growth of mosquitoes. Mr. Rana also conducted a question answer session with the students in which the students asked questions related to the prevention and cause of the diseases. The entire session was very informative. Dr. Anita Puri, Manager, Cambridge Foundation School, thanked the entire team for the efforts.

Celebrating Mother’s Day

The children of Class 2 presented an engrossing presentation during the Morning Assembly on 13th May 2023. The children performed beautiful dances on songs about Mothers. The little ones had everyone spellbound and clapping to the wonderful presentation. The entire presentation was streamed live on the School’s Facebook page.

International Family Day

CFS celebrated International Family Day on 15th May 2023  under the proficient guidance of our competent Manager Dr. Anita Puri.

Through a myriad of activities, the children were given an opportunity to express their feelings about their family.

The students of Class 1 made greeting cards for their family and enacted a role play of their parents. They enjoyed the activity with great zest and fervour. 
The Class 2 students also enacted a family day by role play. 
The children of Class 3 made a photo frame and pasted a family photograph. 
Beautiful Cards were made by the students of Class 4 reflecting the value of a family. 
The Class 5 children made cute stick puppets of their favourite family member and spoke about them.
Class 6 students drew and coloured Poster showing the essence of a Family.
A Debate was organized for the Class 7 students. The students expressed their feelings about their family, and debated the concept of Joint and Nuclear families. 
A Presentation was displayed for the students of Class 8 explaining the significance of a family to the students by highlighting core topics like: The Family as a functional unit, Distinctive features of a family, Effect of modernization on a Family, Global trends emerging in the Family, Institution of a Family in India and Women in Indian Families. 
The students of Classes 9 and 10 actively participated in the activity and showcased their creativity by making posters and writing slogans. They came up with innovative ideas and created colorful posters with heart-touching messages that emphasized the significance of family in one’s life. The posters were displayed in the school premises, and the slogans were read out loud by the students.
The Class 11 and 12 students gracefully showcased their inner creativity by portraying their love for their families by drawing pictures, writing an essay, songs or poem.

Jan Jagrukta Abhiyaan – Yamuna Cleaning Project

In compliance with Circular no.F.No.40(6)/90/SCB/2023/727-732 the Eco Club in charge and Eco Club students attended the Jan Jagrukta Abhiyan on Yamuna Cleaning on 17th May 2023 at Chhat Ghat, Yamuna River, ITO, Delhi. Hon’ble Environment, Forest Minister, Shri Gopal Rai was the Chief Guest and Shri Praveen Kumar, MLA Jangpura was the  Guest of Honour.  Shri Gopal Rai highlighted the need for the noble mission of cleaning the Yamuna and asked for an active involvement of Eco Warriors in this regard. All registered Eco Club members were presented with a cap. Students and teachers enjoyed the refreshments served at the venue. 
The Event was attended by Abhay Bhatia (XD) and Parth Chopra (XD), accompanied by Mr. Birender.

Workshop On Online Child Sexual Exploitation And Abuse

The Hon’ble Delhi High Court in association with the Delhi Police organized a Hybrid Workshop on Online Child Sexual Exploitation And Abuse on 25th May 2023. The workshop was held in a Hybrid format. Hon’ble Justice Supreme Court, Sh. P. S. Narsimha, Hon’ble Justice Sh. Satish Chandra Sharma, Chief Justice High Court of Delhi, Sh. Sanjay Arora, Commissioner of Police and Hon’ble Companion Judges graced the occasion. The renowned dignitaries presented their views on the issue and also informed the gathering as to how one may prevent becoming a victim of Online Sexual Exploitation and Abuse. The event was also a platform for launching a series of Awareness Video which help the children in avoiding becoming victims of Online predators. Vanshika (8D), Sonali Anand (8E) and Sadhika Arora (8E) attended the workshop at the Delhi High Court accompanied by Ms. Dimpy Arora. 
Simultaneously a group of students also attended the workshop in Online mode in the School conference.
