Orientation Day 2025-2026 Class III
Orientation programme for Class 3 was held on 22nd March 2025, to welcome students and their parents to the new academic session 2025-2026. The goal of the session was to familiarize everyone with the School’s vision, curriculum, teaching methodologies, and expectations for the year ahead. The event began with a warm welcome address by the Jr School Headmistress Ms. Gurinder Hakim, who expressed enthusiasm about the upcoming academic year and the exciting journey ahead for the students. After that teachers introduced the curriculum planned for Class 3, including subjects to be covered, key learning objectives, and co-curricular activities. Emphasis was laid on interactive learning, student participation, and skill development. Parents were briefed about the School rules and regulations, discipline policies, attendance requirements, and communication channels. The teachers shared their expectations and teaching strategies, encouraging a strong partnership between parents and educators. An interactive Q & A session was conducted by Dr Barkha Shorey, Director of Rahat Occupational and Speech Therapy Centre. She explained the apprehensions that a child face when moving to a higher class and alsominformed parents about important aspects of screen time and quality time. The session concluded with a vote of thanks and expressing gratitude to all parents and reaffirming the school’s commitment to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for the students.
Orientation Day 2025-2026 Class VI
The Orientation Day for Class 6 at Cambridge Foundation School was held on 28 March, 2025, in the school auditorium. The event was thoughtfully organized to welcome new students and their parents, offering them a clear understanding of the school’s academic structure, co-curricular programmes, and learning environment. It aimed to ease the transition from primary to middle school by familiarizing parents and students with the expectations and opportunities that lie ahead.
The session began with a warm welcome address by the teachers, who shared the school’s vision of fostering holistic development and academic excellence. Emphasis was laid on creating a nurturing environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and character-building. This was followed by an informative presentation by the faculty, outlining the curriculum, assessment patterns, and classroom expectations. The teaching methodologies adopted by the school were explained in detail, highlighting how active participation and conceptual understanding is promoted by the school. Parents also gained insight into the school’s rich co-scholastic programme, which includes visual and performing arts, sports, computer education, and life skills.
Overall, the Orientation Day was a successful and meaningful event that strengthened the bond between the school, parents and students laying a strong foundation for a fruitful and enriching academic year ahead.

Orientation Day 2025-2026 Class IX
The Orientation Day for Class IX at Cambridge Foundation School was held on 29th March 2025 in the School auditorium. The event was thoughtfully planned to welcome students stepping into the secondary level. It aimed to give a clear understanding of the academic structure, co-scholastic opportunities, and the new responsibilities that come with senior school. The session helped both students and parents get ready for the more focused and challenging academic journey ahead.
The programme began with a warm welcome by the teachers, who spoke about the school’s aim of encouraging both academic success and personal growth. They highlighted the importance of preparing for board exams while also building critical thinking skills, discipline, and self-confidence. This was followed by an informative presentation by the teachers, explaining the Class IX curriculum, assessment system, and classroom rules. The school’s teaching methods were shared, focusing on active learning, reasoning skills, and strong understanding of concepts. Parents were also introduced to the variety of co-scholastic activities offered, such as debates, creative arts, sports, use of technology, and life skills training.
Overall, Orientation Day was a successful and meaningful event that helped students, parents, and teachers come together with a shared understanding of the school’s goals, setting a positive tone for the academic year ahead.

Celebrating Baisakhi & Dr Ambedkar Jayanti
The popular festival of Baisakhi was celebrated with great enthusiasm by the students of the primary classes. A special assembly was conducted by the students of Class 5. The spellbinding and infectious dances to the beats of Punjabi folk music had the entire audience clapping and cheering. Later during the day the children participated in engrossing craft activties related to the festival and the season of Spring and Harvesting. The teachers explained the importance of the festival through interesting video clips. The children made posters and drawings depciting the harvesting season and celebrations. The students were also informed about Dr. B. R. Ambedkar the Father of our Constitution, whose birth anniversary is celebrated every year on 14th April. They were told about his contributions to uplift the backward classes and his pivotal role in writing our Constitution.
