Orientation Day Session 2023-2024
The School organized an Orientation Day for the upcoming Session for parents and students of Classes I, III, VIII & IX to apprise them of the rules, regulations, assessment patterns and implementation of the New Education Policy 2022. The subjects teachers spoke and explained to the parents about the curriculum of their respective subjects supported with a PowerPoint Presentation. Dr. Roma Kumar, renowned Child Psychologist, gave the audience parenting tips and informed them of various behaviourial changes that they might see in their children. This was followed by a Q&A Session which helped the parents understand specific issues regarding their ward.
Celebrating Good Friday & Mahavir Jayanti
The Christian festival of Good Friday and the Jain festival of Mahavir Jayanti was celebrated by the primary classes with religious sanctity and solemnity.
DDMA Disaster Management Workshop
The District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) District West conducted an Awareness Workshop on 11th April 2023. Mr. Nishant Bodhwani, Project Coordinator DDMA West, the resource person, apprised the students and teachers fo Classes IX – XII of the various Do’s and Dont’s to be followed during a Disaster such as an earthquake and fire. He also instructed and demonstrated simple first aid techniques that may prove helpful in case of an disaster incident.
FINE Festival – Visit to the Rashtrapati Bhawan
On 12th April 2023 a group of 60 students from Class IX visited the Rashtrapati Bhawan to attend the FINE Festival – Festival of Innovation and Entrepreneurship 2023 organized by the National Innovation Foundation, Govt. of India, inaugurated by the Hon’ble President Smt. Droupadi Murmu. This initiative was to inculcate learning about organic agriculture. The students became aware of all the new technological machines, that was very informative. They witnessed eco – friendly way of cultivating paddy crops and were surprised by the fact that there are 6000 varieties of rice in India. Children got to know about the easiest and safest ways of getting silkworms out of their cocoons. Not only in field of agriculture, there were items of great utility for household which were invented by young students. The children were accompanied by Ms. Neelam Malhotra and Mr. Suraj Kumar.
Celebrating Baisakhi & Ambedkar Jayanti
The Harvest Festival of Baisakshi and Ambedkar Jayanti was celebrated with much enthusiasm and joy on 13th April 2023. The students of Class 5 showcased a special presentation during the morning assembly to which parents were also invited.
CUET Awareness Workshop
An awarness workshop to empower the students of Class XI and XII with knowledge about the Common University Entrance Test – CUET was conducted on 18th April 2023. The workshop was conducted in three sessions of one hour each, by Mr. Anupam Dubey from the ACE-UG Academy of Competitive Exams. He apprised the students regarding the norms and requirements of top Universities of India and and how to secure admission in them.
Celebrating Eid-Ul-Fitr And Earth Day
Eid-Ul-Fitr and International Earth Day was celebrated with enthusiam and zest with a special presentation by the students of Class 4 during the morning assembly. The children showcased a scintillating performance based on popular Eid songs, which was appreciated by the students as well as the parents who had been invited for the celebrations.
Celebrating International Dance Day
The students of Class 3 presented a special programme to celebrate the International Dance Day with great enthusiasm and fanfare with the aim of inculcating an interest and respect towards the dance art form.
The celebration began with a short introduction given by the students highlighting the importance of the day. The children then presented a musical act with a special message. They then perfromed a medley of both Western and Indian dance forms which held the audience spellbound.
