To seek the blessings of Lord Krishna, Janmashtami was celebrated by Class 1 on August 23rd, 2024, with mirth and joy. The students were told the importance of this festival with the help of videos. It brought devotion, creativity, enjoyment and fun all together as they all did a craft activity in which coloured a Janamashtami poster depicting peacock feathers, a flute and matki. They happily participated in this craft activity. The day was a delightful divine journey for the students. They all enjoyed the day.
On 23rd August the students of Class 2 after presenting a wonderful presentation during the morning assembly, participated enthusiastically in designing a matki using cotton, flowers,stones and vibrant colours. They also enjoyed the movie on the significance of Janamashtami and Lord Krishna’s birth.

The students of Class 1 participated in an art and craft in which they made beautiful Rakhis. The tiny tots came up with new and innovative ideas for their Rakhi. It was a pleasure watching the dynamic and energetic children preparing something unique, something special. They all enjoyed the day today with lots of excitement and fun.
The students of Class 2 designed a Rakhi using waste material, stones and pebbles, newspaper cuttings and decorative material. This time Creators made an eco-friendly Rakhi. They also enjoyed a story on brother- sister love.
To celebrate the festival of Raksha Bandhan, a Rakhi Making Activity was organized for the students of Class 3. Students made beautiful Rakhis using different articles like silken threads, ribbons, etc. Their artisanship was quite fascinating and children thoroughly enjoyed this activity that tickled their creative side.
On the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan, the students of Class 4 came together to celebrate the festival with enthusiasm and creativity. The day began with an interactive session where the significance of Raksha Bandhan was explained, highlighting the bond of love and protection between siblings. Following this, the students engaged in a delightful activity of making their own Rakhis. With a variety of colorful threads, beads, and decorative materials, the young minds showcased their artistic talents by crafting beautiful rakhis. The classroom buzzed with excitement as each student added their personal touch to their creations, making every rakhi unique and special. Once the rakhis were ready, the students participated in a heartwarming ceremony where they tied the Rakhis on the wrists of their fellow classmates. This gesture not only symbolized the bond of protection but also fostered a sense of unity and friendship among the students. The exchange of Rakhis was accompanied by the traditional exchange of sweets, making the celebration even more joyful.
To celebrate the festival of Raksha Bandhan, the students of Class 5 made attractive Rakhis with the materials brought by them from their home. They presented their self- made rakhis very beautifully along with the other auspicious items like rice, sindoor, sugar, etc. in plates. They used decorative threads, stars, mirrors, pearls and flowers for making beautiful Rakhis. The orators, dancers, singers all performed to the best of their abilities. Their colourful attires and innocent smiles brightened the whole atmosphere.
The students of Class 1 were an integral part of the Independence celebrations, contributing with innocence and excitement that only young children can bring. They presented a very beautiful dance with lots of excitement and joy. Their dance aimed to instill a sense of patriotism and gratitude among students. Later on they did an art and craft activity in which they made a Tricoloured Fan with the help of colorful sheets. They got to know the importance of this day through animated videos and class discussions. They all were super excited and enjoyed a lot.
The students of Class 2 designed a “Bharat ki Beti” using ice cream sticks , doll cutouts, tri coloured paper, and decorative material. They also enjoyed patriotic songs and stories.
The children of Class 3 were involved in making Tri-coloured flowers and kites using origami sheets. The teacher also told them about the importance of the day. They were also informed about the significance of the colours of national flag.
The children of Class 4 after presenting a wonderful presentation in the morning assembly, made our National Flag which they drew and coloured. The proudly displayed and waved their flags in celebration of our Independence Day.
The Independence Day celebrations started on a solemn note with the teachers of Class 5 telling the students about India’s freedom movement and how thousands of Indians sacrificed their lives for the nation. The students sang patriotic songs and recited poems. Beautiful craft work to commemorate the day was made by the students in the class . The atmosphere reverberated with patriotic fervour.
The students of Class 1 celebrated the ‘Kargil Vijay Diwas’ on July 26, 2024 to remember India’s war victory and to pay tribute to the Kargil’s martyrs who were the symbol of courage and sacrifice for safeguarding the borders of our country. The students made a drawing in which they drew our National flag and coloured it. The teachers explained the significance of each colour in the Tricolour.
Class 5 students observed Kargil Vijay Diwas with a series of activities aimed at remembering the glorious deeds of the martyrs. Kargil Vijay Diwas is observed every year on 26th July to honour the brave soldiers of the Indian army who selflessly laid down their lives to safeguard India’s borders. The students made posters and wrote heartfelt slogans and quotations in homage for our bravehearts.
On the occasion of Mother’s Day, the teachers made an earnest effort to instill the importance of mother in a child’s life through effective moral stories and video clippings. The students of Class 1 had something more special and unique to bring a smile on their beloved mother’s face. They passionately got involved in making beautiful greeting cards for their mothers. Mother’s Day 2024 is a special day dedicated to mothers and their motherhood. It is a day to express gratitude and respect to mothers and celebrate the profound impact of motherhood on individuals, families, and societies worldwide. On the occasion of Mother’s day our tiny tots of Class 2 designed a colourful wall hanging using ice cream sticks, paper cutouts, and decorative material.They also wrote an emotion-filled letter to their moms.
To celebrate Mother’s Day, the students of Class 3 participated in a “card making” activity to design a beautiful card for their beautiful mothers. They use various techniques of cutting, folding, pasting and colouring. They also used their calligraphy skills by writing “HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY” and a short message for them.
On the occassion of Mother’s Day the students of Class 5 expressed their love for their mother’s by creating beautiful and colourful poster and cards. The children also wrote wonderful messages on them. Each child proudly displayed his/her card or poster with pride.

Mothers are the emotional backbone of the family, who have the magic power of making all the things beautiful. The students of Class 4 celebrated this special occasion with zeal and energy. They spoke few messages of love for their mothers. They made beautiful badges for their mothers. It was a wonderful celebration.
On the occasion of Earth Day, the Class 1 teachers showed videos and songs to remind the students of their duties towards ‘Mother Nature’. They were advised to adopt a tree and to encourage the same. The children participated in a craft activity in which they coloured a white circled sheet representing Mother Earth, with blue and green colours symbolizing land and water. The students took an oath to keep their environment clean and plant more trees. The students participated in these activities with great zeal and enthusiasm showcasing their artistic and creative skills.
We celebrate Earth Day to raise awareness about the critical environmental challenges facing our planet and to mobilize efforts to address them. Using clay, decorative materials, and paper cutouts, students of Class 2 created a three-dimensional Mother Earth. They also sowed little seeds and took an oath to safeguard our Mother Earth. The children pledged to make our planet clean, green, and livable.
Earth Day was celebrated with great zeal and optimism by the Class 3 students to unite in efforts for a healthier planet and better tomorrow. The activity began with watching a video based on the environmentalists who have done a lot to protect the natural world, which motivated the students to create awareness about conserving and sustaining our environment. Following this, the students made a model of the Earth using air-dry clay and discussed various ways to protect the Earth together. Great energy with enthusiasm and passion generated in the classrooms when all the students danced on a wonderful song called ‘Earth’.
To reinstate our responsibilities toward Mother Earth, Class 4 celebrated Earth Day with enthusiasm and commitment to environmental stewardship. The day was filled with engaging activities and discussions aimed at raising awareness about the importance of conservation and sustainability. The students were explained about the significance of this day. They voiced their views on saving the planet. The students took pledge to promote environmental sustainability, reducing plastic usage, planting trees and conserving water. In art work students made a wall hanging of a Happy Earth using hearts and tearing-pasting method. The Earth Day celebration provided students with a platform to reflect on their impact on the environment and empowered them to become responsible global citizens.
The Earth Day celebrations started with a beautiful message where the students of Class 5 were reminded of 5 actions towards safe earth. Each one of them took a pledge to save Mother Earth by doing simple doable actions. The students were explained, that only our continuing effort in our daily life will make this beautiful planet thrive. The students made beautiful posters with short write ups expressing their views about the environment and Mother Earth.
The popular festival of Baisakhi was celebrated with fun and joy by the students of Class 1. The children involved themselves in a Dhol making activity in which they drew and coloured their Dhols beautifully and later by showing these dhols they danced to popular Punjabi music.The teachers also showed them videos related to the festival. The children were full of energy and enjoyed the day thoroughly. festival was explained by the teachers and the right spirit of the festival was discussed. All the students greeted one another by hugging and wishing ‘Eid Mubarak’.
Baisakhi marks the birth of the Khalsa community or Khalsa Pant by Guru Gobind Singh Ji, when he recognised the need for unity of the community and the great things they could achieve together.The time of Baisakhi usually signifies the end of the harvest season. To celebrate the occasion the students of Class 2 designed a wheat basket using pista shells, grass, water colours and stones. They learned the significance of this festival and enjoyed dancing to Bhangra beats.
To celebrate this festival the Class 3 children engaged themselves enthusiastically in a thumb printing activity of making Rabi crops with yellow and orange colors.
The students of Class 4 celebrated the festival of Baisakhi with great zeal and enthusiasm. The celebration started with a prayer to seek blessings from the Almighty for a prosperous harvest season. The students were also shown a presentation on the importance and significance of celebrating Baisakhi. This helped them learn more about India’s festivals and rich cultural heritage.The celebration also included the enchanting melodies of old folk Punjabi boliyan taking everyone on a journey through love, life and celebration. Various craft activities were organised for students of each class. The students returned home with a beautiful takeaway of the Baisakhi craft and happy memories of the celebration.
The students of Class 5 celebrated Baisakhi and Ambedkar Jayanti with enthusiasm and passion. The festival of Joy and happiness also commemorates the formation of the Khalsa Panth by Guru Gobind Singh in 1699. The children gave a special Bhangra and Gidda performance in the morning Assembly to celebrate the harvest of Rabi Crop.
The students also remembered the amazing Social Reformer and architect of Indian Constitution Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar. The children paid homage to the person who dedicated his life to the principles of equality, justice and fraternity.

A special lantern making activity was done in each class to illustrate the importance of the festival which the children decorated beautifully. The significance of the festival was explained by the teachers and the right spirit of the festival was discussed. All the students greeted one another by hugging and wishing ‘Eid Mubarak’.
Eid-ul-Fitr is celebrated by Muslims worldwide as it marks the end of the month-long dawn-to-sunset fasting of Ramadan. The students of Class 2 made a moon-star wall hanging using paper cutouts, decorative stones, stickers and other craft material. They were explained the significance of the festival and celebrated it with great zeal and joy.
The students were told about the significance of this festival and how Muslims break their fast on the auspicious day Eid after fasting for a complete month. To celebrate this festival Class 3 children were engaged in Card making activity which helped them to foster their creativity, and promote cultural expression and unity among children. Cut-outs of stars and moon were used to decorate the card and good captions with greetings were written. The children displayed exceptional creativity and artistic flair in designing their cards, incorporating calligraphy art and symbols of Eid festivities. They also eagerly shared their completed cards within the classroom, spreading joy and goodwill among their classmates.

The students showcased their creativity by designing captivating Eid poster cards, showcasing their talents. The joy of the celebration radiated from the smiling faces of the students. The event culminated on a delightful note as children relished sharing delicious chocolates together.
The students of Class 5 celebrated Eid-Ul-Fitr, the day of breaking the fast with fun and fervour. They prayed for everyone’s happiness on this Meethi Eid Day. The students presented a Special Assembly on the occasion which included a Skit that helped students realize that keeping everyone’s wishes and happiness before ours makes Allah happy. They danced on ‘Bhar Do Jholi’ and ‘Eid Mubarak’ songs. A fun-filled day for all. In the craft activity on occasion of the festival, the children made posters related to Eid. designing captivating Eid poster cards, showcasing their talents. The joy of the celebration radiated from the smiling faces of the students. The event culminated on a delightful note as children relished sharing delicious chocolates together.
